As an eight-year-old, we used to buy 3 clothes a year, while on birthday, and during festivals Holi and Dusshera. A two door godrej almirah was enough to store our clothes for the 5 of us in the family and sate our needs!
3 new clothes a year were enough!
If truth be told, it was MORE! We felt rich!
Now:
There are umpteen clothing apps, and we give ourselves oodles of reasons to buy clothes. We are always on the buying spree, the never ending one- be it because of the impulse purchase or a casual add to the basket.
Someday there is a birthday party or the other day a family day at office and then we find ourselves with nothing good to wear with the irony of having overflowing wardrobes! Thus, one more reason to get on the never-ending treadmill of trends and buy the dress to be the fashionista.
24 new clothes a year is also not enough now!
If truth be told, the feeling of having LESS is not fading away even after the countless purchases.
And this is certainly not limited to clothes only.
The truth is there is no definition of More and Less.
Sometimes, we just have one thing to worry, and we worry about that worry to be the biggest of all worries or the aggregate of all the worries we can think of. Here one worry itself feels MORE.
Other times, we find people who despite adversities, count them little, sometimes see them as obscure, and overcome all the “challenges”. For them, so many still feels LESS.
Thus sometimes “less” can feel “more” and sometimes it can be other way too!

The more meams we have, the more insatiable our desire has become. Now we do not feel the happiness in 24 clothes which we had in buying 3 clothes!
