About Me
Every day while conquering the chaos of the morning routine- struggle of getting up early, repeating the mundane household chores and finally getting ready for office; there used to be an eerie stillness in my heart. I had this feeling of something amiss in all the hustle bustle of life. One fine day, while having a tete- a- tete with a close friend, a question popped up “What I aspired to be verses what I have become? Gosh, I wanted to be a Newsreader or a Politician in my adolescence as I strangely felt that only in these 2 professions, you will get to speak on a larger dais what you intend to and everyone will listen to you spellbound! I was completely fascinated by the idea of being heard.
While growing up in a middle-class family, I was convinced of the fact that one fine day I will carve my own path. The destination was clear in my head, but ideas to realize it were muddled. Time kept passing by and I got caught up in spending my efforts and energy on trivial pursuits of life. At times, I did feel like going back to my recurrent lucid dream but could not gather enough courage to break the monotony and lose free.
Nonetheless, as rightly said –It is never too late to start on a new journey. Realizing this, I have now taken a tiny step towards my voyage -the journey where there is freedom of choice between want and need. Writing makes me feel alive! Picking up my haywire thoughts that comes in my cognitive diameter and weaving them into a story always exhilarates me. Thus, originated my blog Exprestory where I intend to put forth my experiences, feelings and convictions on various issues.
Apart from weaving my thoughts, quantitative problems intrigue me a lot. I am an enthusiastic educator too and my passion for teaching stems from the immense gratification I get when I receive messages from students on how my classes are helping them in learning new concepts. My YouTube channel- Solve with Shubham aspires to reach as many students as possible and help them get rid of the math anxiety and conquer the fear of math. The classes are focused on various competitive exams MBA/Banking etc., and teaches the basic mathematical concepts and questions from CAT/XAT/IIFT/SNAP/Banking exams etc.
I am also a fledgling human resources professional who loves the fluidity and the “x” factor of not knowing exactly what my day will bring. Day in and day out, I seek new ways to solve the old problems and be the enabler and the value creator who helps all the stakeholders win!
With the Blog and the YouTube channel, I am reliving my dream of “being heard” through my writing and teaching!
